Tattoo art turned into full colour digital print stickers

Reuben Wood, is the talented artist and tattooist who owns Meow Meow Tattoo Studio in Takaka.  Reuben found us online and we turned his tattoo art into a stack of full colour kiss-cut digital print stickers.  They look amazing, so we thought we’d share them with all of you.

The design is Reuben’s take of the classic 90’s anime character Sailor Moon.  Sailor Moon, also known as Usagi Tsukino, is a fictional superheronie who is the main protagonist and title character of the Sailor Moon manga series written by Naoko Takeuchi.

“I wanted to modernise the look and make it as cute as I could”, says Reuben.  “The design is part of a sleeve project I’m tattooing on my friend, my friends donate limbs to me.”

These stickers will be used as little give aways and gifts for clients getting tattoos.  Reuben is also experimenting with designing up sticker packs featuring other epic works of art, which he will sell to customers through his studio.  We can’t wait to see more of his artwork turned into awesome stickers like this – watch this space!
