Featured job: signage and stickers
Our featured job this month was supplying signage and stickers for Forty Eight Fight Wear and the Battalion Jiu-Jitsu Academy in New Plymouth.
Forty Eight Fight Wear was born out of the love for combat sport and desire to find high quality and functional clothing to wear while participating in these dynamic sports. Founder of the brand, Greg Seebeck, started the clothing line as a side project to running his local gym, the Battalion Jiu-Jitsu Academy. Greg has used us to provide him with stickers to support his Forty Eight Fight Wear branding, as well as exterior and interior signage for this Battalion Jiu-Jitsu Academy.
We think he’s doing great things for the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu community locally in Taranaki, by providing a supportive and inclusive training environment, while also supplying high performing fight wear for athletes to train and compete in across the country. His artwork and logo design is also great, and as we like to say, ‘good art makes great stickers’. It’s good vibes all round and we’re proud to be part of his journey.
What signage did we supply?
For the exterior signage of the gym, we supplied Greg with his artwork printed on ACM (Aluminium Composite Material). This sign material is highly durable and suitable for a long life outdoors in the harsh Taranaki weather – rain, wind and of course the blazing sunshine. For the interior signage, corflute was used as this is a low cost, light weight yet highly durable option for indoor use. Corflute can also be used outdoors but it is not as long lasting as ACM, especially where it is exposed to high winds!
What stickers did we supply?
For the Forty Eight Fight Wear branding and promotional stickers, we supplied Greg with kiss-cut, custom shape, long-life, laminated vinyl stickers that are suitable for indoor and outdoor use. These stickers can go on anything they will stick to – you’ll often see them plastered on car windows, street signs, laptops, tablets and iPads, drink bottles, reusable coffee cups, sports/gym equipment etc. They are waterproof and can handle a good beating from all the elements. They look sharp and last a long time. These sorts of stickers are great for getting your branding out in front of people and promoting your products.
