Custom stickers for selling your car, boat or trailer

We recently had a request for some custom vinyl car sale stickers. This isn’t out of the ordinary, but the difference for these particular car sale stickers were that it was advertising a $1 reserve auction on Trade Me, and there was a QR code sticker included that directly linked potential buyers straight to the live auction!

How we made this vinyl sticker to include a QR code

For this job we used a vinyl die cut sticker to make the large white decal with $1 res and the details on it, and we digitally printed a custom sticker for the QR code.  After that was printed we placed it on the original die cut sticker sheet, and applied the application tape so that the sticker could be easily installed in place, on the car window, by our customer.

It is worth noting that as with any sticker that is going onto a window or clear glass like these car sale stickers, white is always the best colour to use!  It may come as a bit of a surprise, but white will show up and stand out on clear glass better than any other colour.  It is also best to use a basic block-style, bold font so that your sticker is clear and easy to read.

Stickers are a great way to help sell your car – and the QR code sticker idea was a new way that we thought was a smart idea!
