Jetski registration stickers
In Auckland, all jetskis need to be registered and the number must be clearly displayed on the vessel. The easiest way to do this is with jetski registration stickers.
To register a new jetski in Auckland, visit the Auckland Council website. You then have the choice to have the Council supply you with some boring, stock standard stickers (which you pay for), or you can be creative and source your own – which is where we come in!
What are the jetski registration sticker requirements?
Auckland Council requires that jetski stickers showing the registration number are to be clearly displayed above the waterline on both sides of your vessel.
The registration number:
- Can be any colour so long as it is a contrasting colour to the hull.
- Must be no less than 90mm in height.
- Can be in any font.
- Must be clearly readable and visible.
Are you looking for replacement jetski stickers?
If your jetski is already registered, you may simply need some new stickers to replace your old, damaged or missing stickers. We can help you out with this no problems.
As jetski registration is a one-off registration, valid for the lifetime of the vessel, if your jetski isn’t brand new it has likely already been registered. Find out what the number is and we can do the rest.
