Use Stickers for Fundraising – Here’s How it Works:

We know clubs have a hard time raising money.  Not everyone is keen to stand outside Mitre10 and Bunnings on the weekend selling sausages – we get it!  Stickers might well be the answer you’ve been looking for!  Here’s how it works…

Step One – Design something cool

Get your club’s logo or name made into a cool looking design that people would like to put on their car, water bottle, laptop, bike, sports equipment etc.  There is probably some talented person within your club who might be able to pull this together, or perhaps even run a competition where you ask members to submit their designs and the winner gets something – whatever you can afford to give away as in incentive.  These days you can even use AI to generate a design for free, so don’t let this first step stop you from reaping the awards that await you.

Design tip: If you think you want to use cut vinyl for your stickers, then keep the design simple, bold and a single colour.  If you think you want a printed sticker then go for gold and use as many colours as you like and feel free to go with detailed and complex artwork.

Step Two – Send your design to Custom Stickers for a free quote

Now, take your design and fill in the quote form.  Let us know roughly how many stickers you’ll need and at what size and we will get back to you with some options and prices.  Lock in your order and in around 5 working days or so, your stickers will be on their way to you, all ready to earn you some quick and easy cash.

Step Three – This is where the magic happens

Get your fundraising going by letting your members know there are stickers available for purchase – post it on your socials, throw it in your newsletter, put them in your online merch store (if you have one) etc etc etc…  Sell your stickers and make that cash.  Rinse and repeat.

To give you an idea, we often see singular stickers sell for $8-$10 each that have a unit cost around $2-$3, making a tidy profit with each sale.  Order 100 stickers and you can quickly make well over $500 without having to sell a single sausage.  Order 1000 stickers, perhaps a few different designs and make up some sticker packs that sell for say $25 each and you could be making your club a tidy $5,000.  The added bonus with stickers is that your members will buy them, then stick them in places where others will see them, and your membership will likely grow as a result, generating more revenue for your club and keeping the love alive for many more years to come.
